NetDiag+ 1.4.7: measurement notes in your language, deep links, and a place to rate
A follow-up to 1.4.6: two things in it were right in English and wrong everywhere else.
Notes in thirteen languages
Each row of the Latency Dashboard can carry a note — "degraded since March 2026", "web portal front door, not the carrier's network". Those notes explain why a number looks the way it does, and in 1.4.6 they were English on every device. They are now in all thirteen languages.
Deep links
The app registers netdiagplus://tool/latency and netdiagplus://tool/bufferbloat, alongside the tools it already knew. A guide on this site, a post, or an App Store event can now open the right tool instead of the home screen. The first use is the App Store event for the Latency Dashboard that runs from 23 September.
Rating, at the right moment
Earlier versions asked for a rating after a ping succeeded, which is not a moment anyone has an opinion about. A graded bufferbloat result now carries a "Was this useful? Rate NetDiag+" link instead — it opens the App Store review sheet directly, and only when you tap it.
Fixed
- Settings → Privacy Policy pointed at a domain that no longer resolves. It now opens netdiag.online/privacy.
